Stellenrust was established in 1928 and is a partnership between two families, the Boshoffs and the Van der Westhuizens. It consists of about 400ha of which 200ha comprise vineyards – part located in the so-called Golden Triangle area of Stellenbosch and part high up in the Bottelary Hills area. Many of the vines are older than 35 years. A wide range of wines are produced and exported globally. The winery's cellar master is Tertius Boshoff who works alongside viticuilturist Kobie van der Westhuizen.
