The state-of-the-art, family owned, cellar of Pulpit Rock are situated on the foothills of the Kasteelberg Mountain in Riebeek West. Visitors can sample the wines of the cellar at the tasting room or enjoy a light meal at the recently opened Snack Bar. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike along the 4km (return) hiking trail meandering up the slopes of Kasteelberg. The elevation of the trail starts at about 248m above sea level and ends at about 850m above sea level - it is definitely not for the faint hearted, but you will be awarded with stunning views over the Swartland.
