With a tank capacity of some nine million litres, Mountain Ridge is a bulk wine specialist that was established in 1949. It adopted its current name in the early 2000s, changing it from Romansrivier when new owners took over. Grapes are sourced from across South Africa's wine regions and transported to the winery near Wolseley. Its own ranges include the easy-drinking De Liefde, named after a local street; the flagship Romansrivier; the mid-tier Mountain Ridge; and, Jail Break. It also rents space for functions.
