At Mellasat Vineyards we reckon we're a bit different, which is why you'll find a White Pinotage amongst our range of award-winning wines. As a boutique winery, our aim is to distance ourselves from the average 'volume' producer and the perception that South African wine comes at a cheaper price point than other wine producing countries.
In 2007 we created the world's first White Pinotage - our barrel fermented White Pinotage was launched onto the market with great interest being generated in this unusual wine. This wine has a following not only in South Africa but also around the world.
