Le Pommier's distinctive French name is a reminder that the farm on the Helshoogte Pass once was a flourishing apple orchard. Established in 2003, the farm is located at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain. Its eponymous wine range is a product of the Banghoek Valley and comprises "good quality [red, white and rosé] wines that also appeal to novice wine drinkers". There's a child-friendly restaurant that offers South African dishes with a Cape Malay twist, and guest accommodation too.
