Lanzerac Wine Estate is home to the world’s first bottled Pinotage. Today, the estate still produces award-winning Pinotage, along with a wide variety of other wines in Lanzerac’s Premium Range, Heritage Range and Keldermeester Versameling (Cellar Master Collection). Lanzerac is located against the western foothills of Botmaskop in the Jonkershoek Valley, and comprises 162ha of which some 45ha are planted to vine. The remaining land is reserved for mountainous fynbos. The altitude of the vineyards ranges from 100 – 500m above sea level. Along with the tasting room and daily cellar tours, Lanzerac is home to a renowned luxury hotel.
