Robertson Wine Valley
Kleinhoekkloof is a boutique wine farm with 11.8ha under vine, situated in a narrow ravine at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. The farm was acquired by the De Jongh family in 2004. Owner Theunis de Jongh is the winemaker, but also a charcutier, making prosciutto, bacon, smoked ham, salamis and other artisanal cured cold meats. Cultivars planted include Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Shiraz, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, with each producing wine certified as a ‘single-vineyard’. Adjoining the winery, visitors can taste wines as well as olives and olive oil.
