Doolhof Wine Estate

Wellington Wine Route

Restaurant

When settlers first set sight on the estate in the early 18th Century they noted the many hills and vales and aptly named it Doolhof, which means labyrinth in Afrikaans. Today, this labyrinthine topography is home to vineyards that take advantage of the many micro-climates and terroirs. Doolhof is situated between the Limietberg and Groenberg mountains, an area rich with history as it is in nature and fascinating geology. Roughly 40 of the farm’s 380ha are planted to vine. The estate also has a range of accommodation and is open to picnics.
