Winter is the best time for locals to visit the Western Cape. It’s the time when most of the tourists have fled in search of warmer weather and when our prime hotels and destinations introduce some very tempting specials, making it a bit more accessible for those of earning in Rands.
Here are a couple of finds I’m particularly excited about. I will also be updating this post through the season so keep checking in.
From 1 May to 31 August yo can book a stay for 4 nights and only pay for three. Babylonstoren is easily one of the most beautiful destinations I’ve stayed at, with meticulous attention to detail that ensures every comfort. Their country-chic cottages offer a perfect escape from the city, and you can really lose yourself in the beauty of their gardens and natural surrounds.
South African guests are further encouraged to inquire about special rates for locals at email@example.com
This winter, CapeNature is giving nature lovers 40% off accommodation at their nature reserves. The offer extends across all self-catering and camping options, excluding the Whale Trail and hiking trail huts. It is the perfect excuse to escape to our most beautiful, secluded destinations, and linger a little longer in the peace and quiet.
The offer is valid until 31 August 2017.
